Title: Wanted: teacher in Reno, NV
Post by: ledbelly on September 06, 2005, 05:58:03 PM
I moved to Reno NV about a year and a half ago and am looking for a teacher. I have not been able to find a Kajukenbo school in Reno, NV. If anyone knows of a school or someone willing to teach, please let me know.
Please send me an email at greg@htrcgroup.com.

I would also be willing to help someone who is interested in starting a school in Reno, NV. I am ex-military with some martial arts background, and very limited Kajukenbo experience. I was an industry analyst inthe high tech industry until it went bust, I am currently a VP at a small manufacturing company in Reno, NV. While I could only provide business advice, marketing, and administrative related functions, they are of some value. I just want to learn and get back into shape.
Sincerely,
Greg Howard

I know that Prof. Sam Brown has a Ken Ju Bo Ai school in Reno.
He is my teacher's teacher.  Though, I do not have an address
or phone number.  I'm quite sure that Prof. Brown does not do
email.  If you're unable to find the school in the yellow pages,
please post here again.

Ken Ju Bo Ai descended from CHA3 Kenpo, which is an offshoot
of Kajukenbo's first black belt Prof. Marino Tiwanak.

I have found Professor Browns school and am now a student of one of his students. Thank you very much. It took some time to track it down. Professor Brown operates our of the public schools in the Reno Sparks area. I am very impressed with Professor Brown and his school.
Sincerely,
Greg
