Thank you - that's one of my favorite photos.

I got this to say "only at a Kajukenbo tournament". ;)

Never had I ever had so many coaches and from so many schools. :o It worked great w/my mulitple personalities. ;)

Thank you everyone. This victory is not just mine but it belongs to all of us.

This competition meant the most to me because it was Sijo's Birthday Tournament.

If I never compete again its okay because this was the one that counted.

Congratulations Sigung Kailani,
It was really nice meeting you and I was happy to see you recognized for your hard work and training.
My teacher, the late Grand Master Aleju always spoke highly of your uncle Abe.  I heard he was a great man!

Good Afternoon Sigung Pat:

Unfortunately, I will have to send my regrets for this weekend.

I have a family engagement that I must attend.

Please keep me in my mind for your future events.

My best to you and your students. I know it will be a memorable time for all of you.

;D   I wish to congratulate 2 women Black Belts from the Northern California Headquarters of K.S.D.I. to their new respective degrees.
Terry McBride, who teaches in Angles Camp was promoted to the rank of 5th degree by her Instructor Sigung Joel Purvis.  She started in the 80's with Sigung and has now been running her own school for the past three years.
Sifu Shannon Harris, who has been doing a truely wonderful job of Instructing the small kids classes at the Vallejo school for the past 4 years now, was promoted to 3rd degree.   ;)
Emil & Betty Bautista ;D
Congratulations to both ladies for there fine performances, their and dedication to Kajukenbo and, as teachers, their dedication to the students.

Thank you Grandmaster.  It was truely an honor and although Sigung presented me with my belt, I was truely honored to have Grandmaster read the certificate with his son, Professor Joseph and their friend Sifu Cheyenne and of course, Betty :), in attendance.  It was a day I will always remember.  I am proud to be under your lineage.
