Great Inspiration(s)

My post is simple but very meaningful.

An instructor was sick suddenly and had to take an emergency leave of absence. :-\

The Chief instructor was unable to take off time from work. :-\

The other students had not been left alone before and could not run class yet. :-\

The wife of the Chief instructor also a student had just had a baby less than 3 mos.  :-\

Who was to teach the students? What a delima! :'(

Believe or not the wife/new mom/student became the teacher. Yes, she left home with her new born son and went across the states to teach.  ;D

Being a new mom and teach too that's amazing. :o The energy alone to care for a new child is enormous than to take on a school too?! Wow?!  :o

This person is Marissa Wong she is a great inspiration for all of us.

So the next time you think your tired and can't teach class just think of M. Trust me you are not that tired. ;)

My hat goes off to Marissa for going to the school, and teaching despite having a three month old baby to  take care of.
That is definitely what Ohana is all about, isn't it? The word is translated into English as family.

I agree that being tired is a poor excuse for missing class. After all, when one needs self-defense it usually isn't under ideal circumstances. M puts this theory into practice. Thus whenever you're whining, just look at her.

It's women like M who keeps all of us going. Thanks M for being an inspiration!

Hi M,

I thought I already posted a message here a couple of days ago but it's missing. I also started another thread but that's also missing. Must be a computer glitch.  ::)
