Why do we not have a bio on Sijo's brother, Joseph Emperado. I, for one would like information on Joe Emperado. He was very instrumental by having help kajukenbo grow. Is there anyone out there that can enlighten us.

Did we ever get a Bio on Joseph Emperado? Some of the stories that I have heard about him from eye witnesses are something else. He definitely was on another level.

If there is one on him maybe I didn't catch it and I apologize.

Not yet.  Next time I visit with Sijo, I'm going to get as much information as I can about Joe Emperado and Woodrow McCandless.

Thank you Sigung,

My Grandfather and Uncle have some awesome stories about him. They have actually witnessed him in action when he was alive and I can't believe what he did to those poor souls. Talk about being focused. It would be cool to see his training regimen and what made him such a destroyer.

Sigung Bishop,
I noticed you're asking for bios for professors and grandmasters of Kajukenbo.  I was wondering if you would be interested in a biography for the late Professor Curtis Arrayan.  I am currently training uder his son Sigung Curtis D. Arrayan in Portland, Oregon.  I was the last black belt promoted under Professor Arrayan while he was in Oregon in 2003.  We have a  small school here in Oregon,  and have been together for eight years.  We're strictly Old School  Emperado Method Practioners of Kajukenbo.  If you would like information regarding  the late Professor Curtis Arrayan.  Please let me know.
