Grandmaster Dacascos has a great point.
The China trip's accomplishments and
highlights of enlightenment really need
showcasing to the public at large or at
least a wider martial arts audience.

There's a lot of people who'd love to
see what the northern Shaolin Temple
looks like, especially after its restoration
in recent years.  It's just remarkable how
many hundreds (thousands) of students
train in WuShu in the area there.

What's really terrific is how martial arts
were being practiced and enacted in
full display at places like the Great Wall,
the Forbidden City and the Temple.
Really fantastic.  It's a bit a shame there
wasn't some squaring off with the monks
in training.

As to putting the material on public tv,
I'm not sure if there is enough there for
it as such a program will need more background
info etc explaining and illustrating for the audience.
But, as is, the dvd COULD be part of a public access
program which various community channels could
telecast.  That'd be less of a headache to pull off,
avoiding much of the politics of landing a spot on
PBS.

Good stuff, either way!
Boston
(where kajukenbo is rare)
