Hey bro...

Bring that hat and coat to Texas with you in November.... We are gonna be doing some shooting and spending some time in the woods... Look up the shooting drill "El-Presidente"..... Good drill we were working on last week.... They say a respectable time for the drill is less than 10 seconds... We were averaging about 7..... Time to start getting your groove on with the hogleg again.... We gonna do more than just empty hand..  ;)

OOOOOOOOhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell I am looking forward to the visit..  :D

See ya soon brother.

A reply form Professor Nordlie about the surfing pic....
Dear Professor Bono

That photo posted with the surf boards are of mainland fighters at our sponsored tourniment in Hawaii in 1969.

Left to right are Gaylord, Ramos, Hillshiem, Rowe and me, Nordlie.  I thought only Hillshiem had that photo until he gave me a copy last year at GGMG's birthday party.

P.S. We really beat the cra# out of the Hawaii participants.  Indeed we laughted about it flying home.   Gaylord told me that it was enjoyable to go back and do some damage by competition, ergo, you vs. me on the street.

Thks for the memories as I was much younger then and thought I walked on H2O.  Now I am just glad to be still in Kajukenbo and alive.  Love Kajueknbo.

God bless

I'm sure it was a great competition, and enjoyed by all who participated.  There was great rivalry's and pride in some of these "mainland vs. Hawaii" competitions, but it was more of a team pride then regional pride.
When Ed Parker took a team to Hawaii for a big "Mainland Vs. Hawaii" competition, the mainland team won.  But, the team was coached by a Hawaiian (Parker) and had at least 3 Hawaiians on the team (Carlos Bunda, Mike Vissar, & Mike Stone).  So did the Hawaiians really lose?
I'll bet the Hawaiians were represented on both teams when GM Gaylord took his boys over for the competition ;)
