Any schools in Missouri?
« on: August 19, 2003, 02:35:19 PM »
I studied Kajukenbo under Sifu Terry Faircloth, in Federal Way, WA.  Back when I was still in the army. I moved to Springfield, Missouri, for my career, and have never met anyone here that studies, studied or knows anything about Kajukenbo. I practice my skills solely with my friends whom all have studied other forms, so I fear my skills are languishing.  Are there any  students of the greatest martial art form I ever studied here in Missouri?

Thank you very much.  I called Sifu Charlie Walton, as he was the closest, at about 148 miles.  I may be able to go there at least twice a month. Thanks again for the help.

I looked up the Kajukenbo school on the Internet,  and couldn't find my old Sifu. Does anyone know what happened to Sifu Terry Faircloth, and his school outside Federal Way, WA.  I had the great pleasure of even meeting and being trained at his school by Sifu Al Dacascos, while I was there.

Sigung,

Thanks for that reference---and I know that you got that info off the www.kajukenbo.org website.
However, I am no longer in Higginsville, MO. So, there is no school in Higginsville anymore.

And now my e-mail is kjkbsifu@pobox.com

Thanks again for the reference,

Julian

P.S. Repdetect---you might also check out Sigung Doug Washburn at www.twinriverskajukenbo.com but he is in Edwardsville, IL. Also, there is a good Goju-ryu School in Springfield under Hanshi Lou Angel. You can take a look at his page at:  www.louangel.com
