I'm using the DVR option on my satellite to record the shows every week. I would love to  have the kaju show on a hard copy after it comes out. I love the show, great show.

You extract the shows from your satellite DVR quite easily using PVRExplorer (freeware).  Just Google for it and the instructions on how to open the box and connect the hard drive.   However, I have not been able to extract the HD versions of shows as they are encrypted.  So, it's a good idea to snag the show on the Standard Definition (SD) channel if you want to do this.  You can also connect the outputs of your satellite box to a computer input device with s-video, but that generally limits you to SD transfers as you need a higher end device with connectors to the component cables to grab a 1080i output.

Hey Prof. Bono,

Actually, if you're up for the task, consider encoding the DVD to Divx format and uploading.  I can post the instructions if you're into it.

I've removed the files from the links posted.   My server account was overloaded this weekend, and my ISP reprimanded me for excessive bandwidth.  I think someone made a BitTorrent with the episodes because 77 GBytes were downloaded in one day.  Bummer.

Shoot! And I was hoping to get the download of the Kaju episode.  Maybe you can PM me with a private link for that one?  Sucks that somebody was taking advantage.  I would like to have a permanent copy of the Kaju episode for my archive though.  I am sure the webpage that currently has it won't have it forever and I don't have an easy way to download it.  Let me know if you've got it.  Thanks for all the previous ones though... I only downloaded once and didn't give out the links to any other public domain. lol.  People should think before doing stuff like that. 8)

I saw the link posted throught private email, and I think it was Prof. Bono.  In any case, I don't have the Kaju episode in a compressed movie, but it's still on my cable box.  I was hit with another project right around the Kaju episode, so I'm sorry that I couldn't make that file.  I can do it sometime this month if the other link no longer exists.

Also, the Kaju episodeo Human Weapon series will probably be on sale on DVD shortly.  That will be the highest quality version available.  Checked the Discovery Channel store.

Here's the Kaju episode (300+ MBytes).  Download it soon as I may have to pull it.  Please don't post this link anywhere else as I think that's how my account blew up with the Human Weapon series.
