I think you represented great our Ohana. We are who we are and we are a diverse bunch, but we are family. It is what it is. I like the Sunglasses.  8)
Just my two cents.
Mahalo,
Sifu Pat

I could'nt have said it any better than Sifu's statement..
The show was awesome and it showed what Kaju is about and the way it is taught.

Grand Master Harper...who is this person (?) who dared question your sunglasses? None of anyone's business..you don't need to defend yourself from people (?) like that...but you did so, as you always do, with strong tact! So what if you look like a biker? That guy(?) is dumb. Where are his comments? Jealous that he(?) wasn't on the show? I think one of the things I do love about Kajukenbo is that we are real people, we have our faults like most, but aren't afraid to be US. When I first started 30 years ago, I envisioned having to be like a monk, giving up "wine, women and song" so to speak! I'm glad that wasn't the case! Our training helps us to live, and we learn to let live. Even the Buddhist monks don't criticize others for their clothing or habits. You are one of the people I truely respect...

Just keep in mind that Discovery Channel may use those comments to decide whether to air the show again, or when to air it again on prime time.  I'd go there and add some quotes to support the show instead of countering the negative comments.  Also, Discovery Channel is available on basic cable, so every kid is able to see it.

I agree with you Gints about this being a family channel.  I know Jimmy and I's final fight wasn't amazing by any standards but we definitely landed a lot more punches then they actually showed.

I know I had a bruised nose, a huge cut in my mouth, welt on my head and a black eye - Jimmy had some blood in his mouth, a sore jaw, and another welt on the other side of his eye (not big bruise from his training)

Most of the final scene with us mostly showed some movement, a few punches and Jimmy taking me down a few times...  Hardly any face bruising punches by any means....haha

The other final fight did seem much more intense though so I was completely happy about that...  That rocked....

I guess thats also why GM Harper's attempt at dentistry did not make the show.  Knocking someones tooth out is probably not considered "Family Friendly TV" - well unless you are Kaju Family   :)

Hey Matt, I liked your fight as well.  There was a preview in which they played you slow motion looking like you're going to demolish anyone in your path.  How's that for noteriety?

I personally thought Gints should have been there filming and taking pictures.  He always seems to capture every painful moment.  And of course has no shame in following you to the bathroom with his hand held to catch every blood dripping situation... :'(

Thank you to those with the unbiased opinion of the fight (my bro and Sss...haha)

And Gints - by the time I shot the commercial I was so nervous that those punches were actual speed...   :P
