Kajukenbo fighters for breast Cancer
« on: October 21, 2012, 12:58:04 AM »
Tonight I attended an MMA event in in Fresno California which was a fund raiser for breast cancer (Pink)
Sifu Christian Smith of Tribull MMA (under me) had 4 fighters, and 4 wins.
Professor Tom Theofanopoulis (Gaylord method) had 2 fighters with 1 win and 1 close loss
Sifu Art Peraza Jr. of the dungeon MMA (under me) had 1 fighter with 1 win.
That's 7 Kajukenbo fighters, and 6 wins.
I was very proud of everyone, fighters and coach's.
12 fights in all for the night and 7 of the fights had a Kajukenbo coach in the corner.
Kajukenbo Pride baby!

Congrats to everyone!  That sure would have been fun to watch.  I always believed that the Style/Teaching Methods passed on by our elders give us the right tool set to achieve success both in the ring and on the street.

Congratulations.  How about an MMA event for Prostate Cancer?  Breast Cancer is the #3 cancer, exceeded in the # of cases by Prostate (#2) and Lung Cancer (#1).  Breast Cancer research receives twice the federal funding of either Prostate Cancer or Lung Cancer.   In private funding, breast cancer receives even more.  Other life-ending cancers are ignored because Breast Cancer receives the lion's share of funding.  October was Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Was anyone aware of Prostate Cancer awareness month in September?  Has anyone seen a blue ribbon for prostate cancer? Why is the lifespan of Grandpa less valuable than the lifespan of Grandma ?
