Arnis/Eskrima/Kali schools near Dallas, TX?
« on: September 16, 2008, 05:00:40 PM »
Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post this question -

I am looking for cross-training to learn some Arnis/Eskrima/Kali near Plano, TX area.  (North of Dallas).
I have had a few weeks of introduction to Arnis and basic stick drills during my Kajukenbo training.  I'd like to advance and learn more with sticks.

Is anyone aware of instructors teaching these arts in the Dallas area?

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty unfamiliar with the fma world but Tim Waid is in Dallas and I've heard plenty of good things about him http://www.bladefighting.com/, if you want Kajukenbo my instructor is in Arlington heres the link:http://www.ksdint.com/index.htm.

Hope this helps and good luck!

I second the recommendation of Tim Waid. He is the US Representative and 2IC of Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje's PTGO and is GT Gaje's home base when he is in the USA.

Pekiti Tirsia is a very effective method that blends well with Kajukenbo techniques .
