THE WINNING KAJUWEAR SLOGAN IS.........................
« on: September 16, 2008, 07:28:56 PM »
Ohana,
Before I announce the winning slogan. I would first like to thank everyone that took the time to share their slogans with me. I would also like to apologize on being late on the announcement.

Here is the winning slogan.....

I recieved an e-mail from a lady name Sharon and this is what she wrote:

Hi Sifu,
My name is Sharon and I have a friend that trains in Kajukenbo and he was describing what kajuenbo is. He told me about your slogan contest and I saw somewhere Evolve and Conquer separately in different areas and figured why not put it together. When a martial artist evolves they will gain strength and knowledge to conquer.  Throughout life we face many challenges and to overcome them we have to adapt and evolve. To conquer one must face obstacles and challenges to grow then we conquer. Put those together we get EVOLVE AND CONQUER.   I feel that this slogan fits your Kajuwear slogan. I believe Evolve and Conquer pertains to everyone and everything that exists. Its part of life and part of growth. I really like that slogan and I hope you pick it.  Thank you for your time and I wish everyone well.

I love it and KAJUKENBO Ohana I hope you do too!  ;D

Thanks DKF1. I'm looking for something original. I want something that represents Kajukenbo:
Family. Blood. Honor. Respect. What does KajuWear mean?...Its means...an expression...a legacy...history...etc..

Sorry, I thought an original quote from our founder was fitting, but nowI see what you are looking for. The slogan is for the merchandising not to be printed on the merchandise. - How about "KajuWear, your Gi for the street."

lol

"An Army of Wun"

obviously a reference to the military and Wun method. play on words, will bring a recognizable slogan and modify it for your own ends.

"Higher Thread Count Than Chuck Norris' Beard"

or how about

"Kajukenbo... the difference between bravery and stupidity."

"Teeth; Highly Over-Rated."

'Street tested. Battle Proven.' would rock if you ask me.

on the lighter side, i would have to go with 'Correcting failures to communicate since 1947'

and you could always use.. 'im not a kajukenbo practicioner... but i did i did stay at a holiday inn express last night'
