Honoring our Founder Sijo Emperado-On His Birthday
« on: June 15, 2009, 06:21:05 PM »
Aloha Everyone,
I don't know where to put this at, but I would like to recommend that every June 15 will be Sijo Emperado day and have everyone login into the Cafe to HONOR him on that day.  I know some login everyday but to have all the OHANA login that day in the future.

Your thoughts?

Good way to remember Sijo's birthday every year.
Happy Birthday Sijo.  Your presence in our lives, whether big or small, left us with a lifetime of memories that will be passed on for generations and generations.  Rest in peace, you'll never be forgotten.  As we say "Kajukenbo Forever".

Don't tell me how much you honor Sijo, if you don't respect his wishes.

We'd also like to say Happy Birthday to Sijo and many, many thanks for all he shared with us. Not just his knowledge, although that is beyond measure, but also when he shared of himself, that was more valuable than anything and something for which we will forever be thankful. In my case, he literally gave me my life {in Kajukenbo} and I will always be grateful. We here at the KSDI of Vallejo, our family and friends will always hold him close to our hearts.

My teacher was thoughtful enough through out the years to date my promotions with Sijo's birthday as a tribute to "the man". Thank you GM Bautista for giving me extra momentos of Sijo's life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIJO !

I will never forget the time I was able to share with him.  It was short compared to most but more than I ever imagined possible.  I will always remember the way he lived.

Sijo will live on in all of us and continue to bless us with each lesson shared by his Ohana.
