Talked to Mike last night and he told me that some people are not sure what NWMAA is doing on ebay. Let me assure you and anyone that you have a conversation with about NWMAA, that we ONLY give black belt certificates to qualified black belt instructors/students. If they use our ebay certificates, which is the same price as our regular price as seen on
www.northwestkarate.com they still must prove to us that they are actual certified black belts. They can do this three ways:
1) Send us a copy of a signed of black belt certificate 75% do it this way
2) Give us the name and number of there instructor or person that promoted them %15% do it this way and
3) Send us a home video showing us that you know your curriculium for your rank
10% di it this way.
Reason for the Board to approve the ebay certificates is to reach out to more black belts world wide. We had 986 members before ebay with about 85 being black belts, now we have over 1,000 with the 42 new ones all black belts. We have 38 states now with black belt NWMAA members and when we decide to go Nationwide, we will have roots set in many states. Hope you can explain and understand our motive. One day we will be a world wide organization, but to do so, we will need spokespeople through out the world.
