original Prof. Chow drills

I was wondering if anyone knows any of the drills that Prof Chow used to develop his students and are any of them still in Kajukenbo?

Prof. Chow is a big interest of mine and I'm always looking to find out more information about him and his training.

Prof. Chow taught for a looooong time though, so his techniques and drills probably changed a lot over the years too since I don't think he actually cataloged them.

I realize that Chow never wrote down or cataloged anything.  I also realize that his art changed through the years.  I was just hoping to get a glimpse of his training methods of any kind.

On this forum GM Sedeno trained with Prof. Chow back in the day. There may be others as well.

I always hear of people talking about training with Chow, but never hear any specifics of what the drills were.

Mainly oral history, Kevin.  As Danjo said, GM Sedeno trained with Chow.  But Co-Founder "Uncle Frank" Ordonez probably also has knowledge of Chow's training.  So would men like Sam Kuoha (he's probably got video or books out there).  

Just know that almost everything in Kenpo and Kajukenbo evolves with time -- unless you strike gold, and actually get some Chow video.

I was privileged to spend some time with Uncle Frank last year when I was in Hawaii.

He spoke of Professor Chow but mainly in a historical sense. I didn't ask him about any specific drills or techniques.

No disrespect to Bill Chun's Jr. teaching, but Professor Chow did not have any rolls that would be considered judo and/or jujitsu techniques in his teaching.  Professor Chow would frequent Professor's Okazaki's class (Kaheka) but would refuse to train any ground techniques.  The aforementioned was told to me by GM Freddie Lara, GM Maurice Hornos Sr., (late) Manny Dela Curz (long time assistant) Uncle Frank.  GM Eugene Sedeno had the opportunity on various occasions to work out with Professor Chow and he stated that he would beat the living day lights out of you and beat you to the ground.  No rolling and tumbling.  I also had the opportunity to talk Professor Chow in 1978 (China Town) and we talk about his system for about 2 hours.
