Passing of Professor Frank Wohler
« on: February 06, 2011, 03:48:56 PM »
I'm posting this information here as I want to make sure the word gets out.

It's with deep regret that we bring the news of Prof. Frank Wohler of Delta Kajukenbo passed away 02/08/2011 around 4:30pm pst.  Students, instructors and students parents of Delta Kajukenbo are handling Prof. Franks affairs.

Donations are needed to pay for final arrangements as per  Prof Frank's wishes.  Please contact:

Eldemira Escoto  209-914-6239

As for Delta Kajukenbo in Tracy, it was Prof Frank's wishes that the school continues.  His instructors Josh and Calum(sp) will continue the legacy Prof Frank began.

I saw Frank on Thursday, he was in good spirits and looked good, but was tired.  We laughed and joke and Esther and I let him know he was loved and he let us know.  He was a wonderful man, caring and genuine and would do anything for people he knew.  He also was a great Martial artist and tough Kaju man...he was very often a demo guy for GGM Gaylord.  Frank knew the arts well after close to 4 decades in them, he will be very sadly missed by the Kaju people, and his students that he loved so much.
It's with a very heavy heart we him go....Peace to him....

GM/Prof. Frank W. was a nice person who shared what he knew to those who wanted to learn.  I had learned several things from him and am thankful for his time.   Our condolences go out to his Ohana in Tracy.  Continue his legacy and never forget your roots.

May his memory be eternal!!!

When I got the call yesterday I was shocked.  I was just talking to him about 2 months ago and he was telling me how he was going to bring a group to our NW Kajukenbo Gathering.  He planned to move to Portugal in 2012 and further guide Sigung Bruno through Gaylord method.  As folks have posted he was one of the kindest people you could ever meet.  I will miss him and our conversation greatly.

Peace and blessings to your spirit Frank, rest well.

A sincere and heart felt thank you from the students and family of Delta Kajukenbo.  This is a tough time for us, it's been a tough couple of years for all of Kajukenbo but the support is overwhelming.

We have some true heroes in our Kajukenbo family. I am amazed at the support of our students, parents and extended family.

Professor Wohler loved Kajukenbo and he loved all of you!

We will post more details as arrangements are made.

Thank you,

Kellen

I was just thinking about the wonderful weekend I had and then I read this. What a loss. Professor Frank was such a nice guy. I guess GGM Gaylord will have Frank with him again so he can show everyone in Heaven his Kajukenbo techniques. God bless you Frank!
