NC Promotions, including my wife to Black!

Today, we had an amazing belt test, with myself, Sihing Nathan Unger-Smith, Sigung Colin Davey, and GM Philip Gelinas serving on the board.  17 people tested and passed, including 3 for green and 2 for blue. 

Among these, my wife (Simo) Rachel Goldsmith earned her black sash.  Over half way through the test, she broke her arm during full contact sparring, went to the ER, got it set in a splint, and came back and continued testing for over an hour, demonstrating impeccable technique and impressing the board.

Congratulations to all, and we will post pictures soon.

Congratulations to Simo Rachel for going above and beyond what was expected of a person in her condition, showing the warriors spirit.
