passing of Guru Narrie Babao
« on: October 12, 2013, 12:40:58 PM »
Grandmaster Ted Sotelo has asked me to post the following sad news.
Guru Narrie Babao has passed away.
He was the one who came and helped Doce Pares eskrima Grandmaster Ted Sotelo and Doce Pares  eskrima S. Grandmaster Cacoy Canete with the set up and judging of the eskrima fighting at the KSDI tournament in 2002 in Las vegas when Grandmaster Sotelo first suggested that we make Grappling and eskrima a part of the tournament.
This is another sad day for martial arts.
