Maurice Philip Hornos Sr., 75, of Wahiawa, an?Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Maurice Jr., Eli and Adrian; daughters Kimberly Rutz, Uilani Hornos De Colon and Janera Hornos; sister Carolee Lambayan; and seven grandchildren.
Grandmaster Maurice Hornos' Sr. memorial services will be held at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary - Waipi’o, Mauka Chapel, on Friday, April 4, 2014, from 5:30 – 9 P.M.
The family requested that all martial artists that will be attending be attired in their respective martial arts uniforms.
Kajukenbo/Kenpo program to honor Grandmaster Hornos’ memory:
1. At approximately 5:45 P.M., all martial artists that are present will line up at the front entrance of the Mauka Chapel. Maurice Hornos Jr. will be carrying his father’s ashes (urn) into the chapel.
