We lost another KAJUKENBO great, who wrote the book on KAJUKENBO at the age of 83. He was a great father, grandfather, LEO and martial artist. Rest in peace

RIP GM Conway.  I was fortunate enough to meet him a couple of times while visiting Dragon's Den Kajukenbo.  Had some great talks.

I met SGM Conway many years ago through my teacher SGM Bautista and found SGM Conway to be an amazing man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and students. RIP my friend!

When the occurrence of my promotion to professor came about
I was asked whose signatures I wanted on my certificate , I asked
My instructor for the approvals of Jimmy Cooper , Jesse Reyes  ,
(my father's first two Black belts) and Frank Conway, because those
were the people I admired most at that point of my journey..
I hope to be the one to honor GM Conway the Kaju way...
My heart is heavy this night and day.....

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Conway Ohana, he was my teacher & mentor, we also shared some great times together. I was fortunate enough to visit with him in May 2013. May he rest in peace.

I was lucky to meet him several years back at a seminar in Vallejo, and thank him for his contribution to the martial arts. If not for those early trainers hard work and dedication, the rest of us would not be where we are today. We all owe them a heartfelt thanks, for their dedication, hard work, and for passing on their knowledge.
My condolences to his family.
