The celebration of his life was unmatched, a gruff but Honorable man, memories was shared throughout the services which brought tears to my eyes, thoughts of Gualala, Abalobe diving, GM Cal stands above many because of his truthfulness and a sterness and belief is his Teachings will be be unrivaled, a smile when he placed in a tounament wether it was a Kajukenbo or TangSooDo, at a younger age,,,,,then in a blink of an eye Placing First or GrandChampion in a Senior Masters Kata Division,,"with a hurt body" always trying,,But always with that smile, proving that GM Cal still had it.
Shared a lot of thoughts of how Kajukenbo will fair in the future, OLD SCHOOL THOUGHTS were compared, always a hope that the leaders that are new will follow the wishes of those of old, in some cases agreeing to disaggree, but always ending with doing the best he could in any type of assistance.
GM Cal WILL be missed, his words held weight, Love to the family, the atmosphere was sincere,somber..........
In my minds eye, Performing The Dance Of Death raced thru my mind, Cal deserved that last Salute, as a friend, confidant, honoring one of the greats of KAJUKENBO.
MY eternal Love and prayers of help to the family and his school
With all due respect
