We were privileged to do our advanced training under the world renowned Grandmaster Allen Abad from Hawaii and, for as long as we live, we know we will always see his face and we will always hear his voice.
We recall one admonition from him that has held particular significance for us: "Be still as a mountain, move like a great river." And inwardly we smile when we find ourselves in turn echoing his wisdom to our own students...
