This morning I attended the funeral services for SGM Harry Herrera in Albuquerque.  He was represented proudly by his students who were in their gi’s when they entered the church.  His students were a part of the celebration mass for the SGM.

Also in attendance was SGM Melcor Chavez, SGM Michael Blea and Prof Athony Rosales.

After the mass we all gave a 21 punch salute to Harry before heading to the cemetery.  At the Cemetery we continued the services that were concluded with the presentation of the American flag to his family by an honor guard of veterans. Harry is an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam.

Harry was laid to rest among his family members.
