OK.  I guess I will comment.


Yes, this instructor just shifted his tongue in his mouth (you could see it pushing on the side) and this uke (who by the way is a Shihan) "couldn't" hit him.  And not only couldn't he hit the instructor, he couldn't even move.

It's crap like this that makes me want to puke.  

Students by into this, spend lots of their hard earned money, and when they can't do it, they are told to keep working at it and not promoted for their lack of understanding.

Can you say Hypnotism?!

I also just want to say that I have respect for this instructor.  However, I and many others feel that he goes a bit over the edge with stuff like this.

Why is it that some people need to "prove" how good they are?  

For nearly twenty years I've been getting better and better.  Not once did I try to prove it by suggestion I could do something that no one else could.

Unfortunately, I am just a "regular joe".    Sorry if I've dissapointed anyone.

I'm wondering, when is it that causes you to still respect this instructor you have mentioned?  Seems a shame that someone in a postion to do good for a community would instead prey on innocent/neive people.
