Very nice, Gints.  Good fights.  Thanks for the heads up.  You fight pretty good for a mild mannered, desk jockey.   ;)

Greg, did you already see the show?  On what network?  Hawaii must be a magical place for TV broadcasts.  I thought the first airing was tomorrow (Tuesday).    From what I can tell, the piece is being marketed with the title "Revenge of the Nerds".  The executive producer promised he wouldn't use the words geek or nerd, but the promo video was made without his knowledge.  He's pissed, called to apologize and is trying to change the title, but what can he do?  That's the draw of the story.  It's not "rednecks fight in garage" or "professional fighters rumble at home".  It's "the least likely men like to fight."

National Geo, Sunday night.  I didn't see any titles or promos, and I surely wouldn't title it revenge of the nerds/geeks.  I saw firefighters, correctional officers, everyday guys, just like you'd find in any good school.  Gints, you got plenty air time, and made good use of it.  Well done.
Is there more than one of these Fight Club shows?  I just saw a short trailer for "revenge of the nerds" fight club.  espn E-60.

The NatGeo Dog Brothers "Fight Club: No Limits" episode you saw was a rerun from earlier this year.  My club was covered twice, once in the Nat Geo Taboo series episode named "Proving Ground" .  The ESPN E:60 is a story very similar to that episode, but ESPN asked for a lot of highlight clips for this new E:60 story airing today.

Here is the link from the E:60 site.  If you get a chance, login and make a favorable or unfavorable comment but try to give it a good star rating to keep the fight genre going.

As it turns out, very little stick fighting made it into this piece.
