OK I i just have to ask....

;D Is there a "Girls of Kajukenbo" claender on the horizon?  ;D

post picks that you think would make the cut and what month would they be? (the three posted above are awsome, and i love that round kick =))

(keep it clean pls)

Most of the Kajukenbo black belt women I've met, I'd be afraid to call them "Girls" . . . they can kick * any day of the week.

Regards,
Stan K

You would need to have it in some sort of photobucket (Ie. http://s211.photobucket.com/albums/bb35/Webster-KajuPit/

Then copy the IMG stuff and paste it here.

I know enough to be dangerous - hope this helps.

Dean :)

Another KAJUKENBO World Champion:

TAMI WHELAN-SERRATO
Tami started training with Crazy Dragons, Fremont Ca in 1977 under Greg Lagera. She received her black belt in 1980.She won her first title in 1981 as CKL fighter of the year. Other titles captured were AMAPA fighter of the year, IMACF fighter of the year, GSKA fighter of the year.
About 1992 Tami started training under Professor Joseph Bautista where she currently holds the rank of 5th degree black belt
In 1992 Tami won her first NBL title in the women’s flyweight black belt sparring division in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As her travels took to places like Guatemala, Mexico, Canada and all over the United States she went on to capture another title in1993 in the same division in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She took it a step further as she fought in a final match against Mitzi Tyler to capture the overall Women’s Black belt Grand Champion.  The following year 1994 she went to Hollywood Ca and for third consecutive year captured the women’s flyweight black belt fighting title. This same year competed in the black belt women’s team competition only to find herself in a tied up match and having to face Linda Denley for the final point. Tami captured that title for her team, leaving her final count of NBL Titles to 4
Tami is now married with five girls and running Whelan’s Elite Kajukenbo School out of Tracy Ca where one of her Black belt students, Justin Miller just captured his first NBL win in Utah.

Jackie, would you please explain the complexities of Sibak Garlit's belt?  I see black and brown as well as a red stripe. Interesting.  I don't see mixed colored belts that often, though my Go Shin Jutsu Club used half grades in which the belt colors were mixed along the top and lower half of the narrow part of the belt.
